Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Chinese Curriculum Developer to design, implement, and enhance the Chinese language curriculum for Preschool and Primary school levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood and primary education, curriculum development, and instructional design, with a deep understanding of language acquisition and child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Design & Development:
  Develop comprehensive Chinese language curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and assessments tailored to the developmental stages of Preschool and Primary learners.
• Instructional Materials & Resources:
  Create age-appropriate teaching resources, activities, and multimedia content to support curriculum delivery and engage young learners.
• Curriculum Review & Improvement:
  Conduct regular evaluations of the curriculum and make data-driven recommendations for revisions to ensure alignment with educational standards and student needs.
• Implementation & Training:
  Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing the curriculum, including delivering training workshops and instructional coaching.
• Research & Best Practices:
  Stay informed of current trends in early language education, integrating pedagogical best practices and cultural relevance into curriculum design.
• Data Management & Documentation:
  Organize and maintain curriculum documents, assessment records, and relevant data for reporting and improvement purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development or Chinese language instruction at the Preschool and/or Primary level
• Strong understanding of child development and language acquisition in young learners
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin); English proficiency is an advantage
• Excellent organization, communication, collaboration skills
• Familiarity with digital tools and educational technologies is a plus
