Role Overview
The Group CFO will lead the finance function across multiple business units and legal entities, acting as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board. This role carries full responsibility for financial governance, listed-company compliance, stakeholder management, and using finance as a lever to drive sustainable business performance.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a high-accountability environment, with strong exposure to board-level engagement, banking relationships, and SGX regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction to the Group’s finance and accounting function, including financial control, reporting, treasury, tax, and consolidation
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, providing clear financial insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations
- Oversee group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across multiple business units
- Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls, and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and SGX requirements
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, management reporting, and disclosures to senior management, Board, and investors
- Manage group consolidation and reporting across multiple entities and operating units
- Work closely with business and project leaders on financial evaluation, funding assessments, due diligence, and tax structuring (without being involved in day-to-day project accounting)
- Oversee treasury, cash flow planning, financing activities, and maintain strong working relationships with local and regional banks
- Serve as the primary finance liaison with auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, regulators, and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, and controls, including ERP optimisation and data-driven reporting
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related discipline, with a recognised professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within listed group environments
- Strong exposure to SGX-listed company requirements, including board reporting, disclosures, and governance standards
- Experience managing banking relationships, financing discussions, and liquidity planning, particularly with local banks
- Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required
- Experience leading sizeable finance teams across multiple functions (financial control, AP/AR, consolidation, reporting)
