Job Summary

Our client is a leading global food consumer company expanding rapidly across 18 markets. The CFO will lead the finance function of the newly spun-off business, drive IPO readiness, and oversee financial planning, compliance, and stakeholder engagement to support sustainable growth and public listing success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead financial operations to ensure accurate accounting, corporate finance management, and cost control aligned with business strategy
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks to maintain compliance and risk management across the organization
  • Drive financial planning and analysis to inform strategic decision-making and optimize capital allocation
  • Manage investor relations and communicate effectively with the Board of Directors and external stakeholders to build trust and transparency
  • Oversee treasury functions, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market activities to support business transformation and growth
  • Build and lead high-performance regional or global finance teams, designing effective organizational structures to enhance operational excellence
  • Establish and maintain critical external relationships with banks, investment communities, and financing sectors to secure financial resources
  • Act as a strategic finance business partner to brand presidents and senior leaders, providing insights that drive commercial success
  • Lead IPO readiness initiatives, including pre-IPO strategy development and stakeholder communication, ensuring smooth transition to public listing.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen to navigate complex global markets and evolving regulatory environments
Required competencies and certifications
  • Proven experience managing finance functions in large multinational or listed companies with over 15 years in commercial finance roles
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performance teams and build effective cross-functional relationships based on trust and respect
  • Experience working with corporate Boards of Directors and managing investor relations at a senior level
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Experience as a CFO or senior financial leader in US-listed companies or with successful IPO in the USA Stock exchange.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Track record of business transformation leadership in global corporations
  • Experience managing finance teams across multiple regions or countries
  • Entrepreneurial approach with strong stakeholder management skills

  • Work Location: Hong Kong or Singapore only (non negotiable, no hybrid work arrangement)
