Position Overview

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will lead the organization through strategic growth, operational excellence, scientific credibility, and regulatory integrity. This pivotal role requires a leader who can bridge science, business strategy, and governance while navigating the unique regulatory landscape of Singapore and supporting clinical pathways where relevant.

You will report to the Board of Directors and be accountable for company performance across scientific, commercial, financial, and compliance dimensions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Vision
  • Define and evolve the company’s long-term strategic direction in stem cell technology, regenerative therapies, and market positioning.
  • Lead the executive team to execute against key milestones in R&D, clinical translation, manufacturing, and commercial readiness.
2. Scientific & Operational Oversight
  • Provide executive oversight and guidance to research, development, manufacturing, and clinical teams.
  • Foster a culture of scientific rigor, ethical conduct, and innovation.
3. Regulatory & Compliance Leadership
  • Ensure full compliance with Singapore’s regulatory framework for health products and advanced therapies, including requirements under the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and related bodies.
  • Act as a key liaison with regulators, institutional review boards (IRBs), and ethics committees to support clinical and product pathways.
4. Business Development & Commercial Strategy
  • Lead commercialization strategies for new technologies, products, or services.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, research agencies, investors, and industry collaborators.
5. Financial & Capital Strategy
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation.
  • Drive fundraising, investor engagement, and reporting to the Board.
6. Corporate Governance
  • Champion strong governance frameworks, risk management practices, and ethical standards across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
  • Proven executive leadership experience in biotechnology, cell therapy, regenerative medicine, or related life sciences field.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance environments relevant to therapeutic products (clinical development, manufacturing quality standards, ethics).
  • Track record of business growth, partnership development, and capital raising.
  • Ability to interact credibly with scientific leaders, clinicians, regulators (e.g., HSA), and investors.
  • Excellent communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
  • Experience in Singapore or APAC life sciences markets.
  • Experience working with advanced therapy products, clinical trial pathways, and global product scaling.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s biotech ecosystem (A*STAR, ETC).
