Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team and drive the success of our private label product portfolio. The role will be based in Singapore and will report to the Head of Private Label.

Key tasks and responsibilities
  • Drive end‑to‑end the Private Label commercial performance (Top Line & Bottom Line) on the Lazada Platform.
Marketing and Promotion Management
  • Collaborate with the Category Management Team to drive visibility, build promotional campaigns and improve basket penetration of the Private Label Category.
  • Analyse promotional performance and implement ad‑hoc strategies to improve promotional efficiency.
Category Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for our private label products.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify customer needs, competitor offerings, pricing trends, and potential product gaps within the category.
Competitive Analysis and Pricing
  • Conduct weekly reports on the overall Private Label Category performance (GMV, Margin, Basket Penetration, Promotions, etc).
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities within the category.
  • Set optimal pricing strategies for private label products to maximise profitability by considering cost structures and competition positioning.
  • Conduct regular product performance reviews and make data‑driven decisions on product enhancements, range expansions, and discontinuations.
Operations Coordination
  • Work closely with suppliers and the supply‑chain team to ensure smooth execution of procurement operations.
Product Development
  • Work closely with the Category Management Team and the Head of Private Label to identify and evaluate new product opportunities, considering customer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Category Manager or similar role, preferably in the e‑commerce or retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
