A Cashier/Server

handles customer orders, payments (cash/card), and serves food/drinks, ensuring guest satisfaction by greeting guests, explaining menus, taking accurate orders (often via POS), delivering items, clearing tables, and processing transactions, while also maintaining cleanliness, handling to-go orders, and adhering to food safety standards in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Greet guests, answer questions, offer recommendations, and resolve issues with a friendly attitude.
  • Order Management: Accurately input food/drink orders into the POS system, communicating special requests to kitchen staff.
  • Service: Deliver orders, ensure quality/presentation, check on customer satisfaction, and clear tables.
  • Cash Handling: Process payments (cash, credit, digital), provide correct change, issue receipts, and balance the cash drawer.
  • Cleanliness & Setup: Maintain clean dining areas, server stations, and assist with restocking.
  • To-Go Orders: Efficiently handle phone orders and package takeout orders.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including alcohol service laws.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
