Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is looking for a Business Analyst with a minimum of 4 years experience in Capital Markets. You will deliver business analysis, work closely with stakeholders, and define requirements for application development. Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting and skills in SQL and data analysis are essential. This role offers opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimally 4 years of experience as Capital Markets Business Analyst.
• Strong communication to bring consensus on requirements.
• Strong functional knowledge of financial product & regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge on MIFID2 / SFTR / EMIR is desirable.
• Experience in capital market processes, e.g. Pricing, Trader workflow.
• Exposure to microservices, Kibana, Collibra is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think out of the box.
• Excellent communications and proven documentation capabilities.
• Skilled in Data analysis using database queries (SQL / Oracle / Sybase), TSQL.
• Knowledge of FPML & XML / XSLT / XPath would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of comprehensive business analysis for solutions.
• Work with project team to deliver business requirements.
• Define requirements and artifacts around application development.
• Specification of business rules for regulatory reporting.
• Functional design and testing of solutions.
• Promote best practices around the data dictionary.
• Interaction with developers for implementation specs.
• Explain and communicate on Data services with IT teams.
• Assist with daily operations using scrum, Jira, and Kanban.
