Job Summary (General Nature / Objectives of the Job)

The C&S Design Engineer is responsible for the development, analysis, and delivery of civil and structural (C&S) design solutions for construction projects. The role focuses on producing safe, efficient, and code-compliant designs that meet project requirements while supporting construction activities. The engineer works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that civil and structural designs are technically sound and constructible.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

• Prepare and develop civil and structural design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and local regulations.
• Perform structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, and foundation systems.
• Review architectural and M&E inputs to ensure civil and structural designs are properly integrated.
• Provide technical input and design solutions to resolve engineering issues during design development and construction stages.
• Coordinate with architects, M&E engineers, and other disciplines to ensure design compatibility and constructability.
• Support site teams by responding to technical queries and providing engineering clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, safety regulations, and best engineering practices.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination sessions with internal teams and consultants.
• Assist in monitoring design progress to meet project schedules and construction milestones.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design submissions as required by the project and authorities.
