Job description

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to join our team based in Singapore.

This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates who are interested in financial markets, data analysis and workflow automation.

You will work closely with a commercially driven team across Strategy, Sales and Product development to build relevant data sets and market analyses to empower stakeholders for both branding and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to support reporting, operational insights, and decision-making via dashboard and visual presentations to various internal stakeholders.
• Support automated data collection from internal systems and external data sources whilst keeping a mindset of continued data optimization and reducing manual processes.
• Build and analyse bespoke data sets alongside the product development team and take part in project related analyses with the business development and strategy functions.
• Assist in gathering and documenting business and data requirements under the guidance of senior stakeholders. Help map business processes and data flows from various sources to help grow data sets as per required.
• Assist with testing and validating data pipelines and automated workflows
• Collaborate with technology teams, data engineers, and business users on assigned initiatives
• Build an understanding of derivatives markets and exchange operations with the potential of external interactions if desired.
• Follow established data governance and security standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or expected completion) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding of derivatives and commodity markets and basic understanding of fundamentals of price correlations and asset prices.
• Understanding of data concepts (e.g., databases, datasets, data quality)
• Exposure to SQL, Python, R, or similar tools through coursework or internships
• Familiarity with Excel, data visualization, or reporting tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
