Job description

1. Role: To support the company’s business growth by developing new market opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and coordinating initiatives that expand the distribution of liquor and beverage products. The role allows the trainee to gain exposure in business development, market analysis, and client engagement within the wholesale beverage industry.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Support market research and development to identify new opportunities and customer segments.
  • Assist in managing customer and supplier relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Participate in business outreach activities such as meetings, presentations, and client engagement sessions.
  • Coordinate order and sales processes, including quotation preparation, documentation, and delivery follow-up. imely delivery with internal teams.
  • Support marketing and product initiatives such as promotions, listings, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Provide administrative and reporting support for business operations and management review.
Competencies
  • Proficiency in market research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), skilled in using data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), SPSS, Tableau, or Google Analytics, ability to interpret market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes and experience with customer segmentation and targeting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM, strong communication skills for effective follow-up and relationship building, Knowledge of supplier management systems and procurement processes, Knowledge of supplier management systems and procurement processes and conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in preparing presentations using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides, Skilled in organizing and conducting meetings and client engagement sessions, Ability to draft professional emails, proposals, and outreach materials and competency in virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
  • Understanding of sales order management and quotation preparation, Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, Attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance with sales procedures and Coordination skills to ensure smooth logistics and timely delivery.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or Mailchimp, Ability to assist in campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking, understanding of product lifecycle management and promotional strategies and Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools (a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), experience in preparing business reports, dashboards, and performance metrics, strong organizational and time management skills and ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for management.
