We are seeking a sales-driven and purpose-led Business Development Manager with up to 4 years of experience in financial services or fintech. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in sales and client relationship management, and who have a passion for private markets and alternative investments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify, target, and acquire SMEs, startup founders, and corporate clients interested in investment opportunities within the Private Capital Market.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through networking, partnerships, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand client needs and position suitable investment offerings.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and industry verticals.

2. Private Capital Market Engagement

  • Promote and educate clients on private market investment opportunities (e.g., private equity, venture deals, alternative investment structures).
  • Understand investor risk appetite, return expectations, and structuring preferences to match them with available deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to introduce suitable investment products tailored for SMEs or startup allocators.

3. Relationship Management

  • Build long‑term relationships with business owners, CFOs, founders, and key decision makers.
  • Maintain high engagement through regular follow‑ups, investment updates, and portfolio discussions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for all investment‑related matters.

4. Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Develop go‑to‑market strategies to increase brand presence and product adoption among SMEs and startups.
  • Identify opportunities to white‑label or customize investment solutions for corporate partners.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback on investor trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities.

5. Product Commercialization & Internal Collaboration

  • Work with product and management teams to refine investment product offerings for specific client segments.
  • Participate in commercialization planning, product positioning, training, and launch activities.
  • Support operational readiness and execution of new investment products or partnership models.
Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Relationship Management, or similar roles within Financial Institutions, Investment Firms, or Private Capital Markets.

Strong network or experience dealing with SMEs, startups, founders, or corporate clients.

Good understanding of private investments, alternative assets, and capital markets (no deep technical expertise required, but a solid commercial understanding is essential).

Proven track record in revenue generation, client acquisition, or investment sales.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly driven, proactive, and able to work independently to deliver results.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate product value into business outcomes.
