Role Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Lead to drive the growth of Libeara. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the Financial Services industry, with keen interest in the blockchain and DeFi space. You should also have a proven track record for strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to forge partnerships.

Responsibilities will include the following:

Strategic Planning

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company’s presence in the DeFi ecosystem
• Identify new market opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends to position the company for sustained growth

Partnership Development

• Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key players in the DeFi industry, including blockchain projects, financial institutions, and technology providers
• Negotiate and structure partnerships to enhance the company’s product offerings and market reach

Market Analysis

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, assess competitors, and understand regulatory landscapes in various jurisdictions
• Utilize insights to develop tailored business development strategies and market positioning

Sales and Revenue Generation

• Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of business strategies

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in business development within the blockchain and DeFi space preferred, with a 3 - 10 years experience
• Strong understanding of decentralized finance, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
