Position Overview

You will play a key role in growing the company’s bunkering business by identifying new opportunities, expanding the customer base, and strengthening partnerships with shipowners, charterers, and traders. The role focuses on driving revenue growth through new business opportunities and locations, market intelligence, and innovative fuel solutions that align with the maritime industry’s evolving sustainability goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand the company’s marine fuel sales portfolio across target regions and customer segments.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new clients—including shipowners, charterers, and bunker traders.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through proactive relationship management and consistent service delivery.
  • Monitor bunker market trends, price movements, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the supply, operations, and logistics teams to ensure reliable delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate bunker supply contracts and trading agreements that maximize profitability while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
  • Support the company’s development and marketing of conventional and alternative fuel offerings (e.g., biofuels, methanol).
Requirement
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marine fuel sales, bunker trading, or shipping industry business development.
