Job Description
- Member of the Gas solutions team, based in Singapore.
- Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the FSRU / LNG value chain.
- Business Development : Generate new business leads (especially in Asia and Middle East region), initiate contact with potential partners, and develop proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Strategy Development : Assist in developing and implementing growth strategies to expand the company's FSRU portfolio, including market entry plans for new regions or services.
- Relationship Management : Proactively build relationships in the industry and assist in developing a network of strategic partners in the region to support the execution of the BW LNG strategy.
- Project Development : Assist to coordinate the global Gas solutions team's participation in tenders and bids, including preparation of client proposals and other such documentation for development of floating LNG infrastructure projects.
- Contract Negotiation : Support negotiation of FSRU contracts including commercial assessment and execution. Take lead in selected opportunities.
- Collaboration : Work closely with technical, operations, and legal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Actively participate and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of BW LNG procedures and processes.
Qualifications
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business / finance is essential. Master's degree is desirable.
- 3-5 years of business development experience in the energy sector, with clear focus on LNG / FSRU, maritime, or offshore oil & gas.
- Proven experience in identifying business opportunities, structuring deals, and negotiating contracts in an international context.
- Reasonable understanding of FSRU operations, project economics, and contractual frameworks (including project finance) is desired.
- Reasonable technical understanding to be able to present technical solutions to customers.
- Project management experience, preferably linked to infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modeling is desired.
Commercial
- Good knowledge of the LNG markets and ability to use this to identify opportunities.
- Proven commercial acumen and customer relationship skills.
- Good negotiation skills and an ability to close deals

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially across cultures.
- Enjoy problem-solving and take a creative and solution-oriented approach when faced with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly.
