Job overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who exemplifies Customer First, Collaboration, Ownership, Impact Driven and Innovation. You will lead complex business analysis work, apply Design Thinking to architect user-centered solutions and translate multi-department hotel operations requirements into robust system specifications for Opera PMS. The role requires deep expertise in process optimization, issue resolution, Opera configuration and system integration. You will partner with Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping and other hotel units to elevate service quality, operational efficiency and digital transformation outcomes.

What You Will Do
Business Analysis and Solution Architecture
  • Engage stakeholders to understand goals, challenges and operational pain points
  • Apply Design Thinking to explore user needs, generate solution concepts and validate prototypes
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization and digital transformation
  • Lead workshops and structured discussions to uncover root issues and define solution direction
Solution Delivery and System Enablement
  • Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements, user stories and process flows
  • Configure and support Opera PMS modules including Front Office, Reservations, Cashiering, Housekeeping and Night Audit
  • Lead incident resolution and problem diagnosis for complex Opera-related issues
  • Support integration between Opera and other systems such as key card solutions, payment platforms and housekeeping systems
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on system upgrades, patches and enhancements
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation such as BRDs, functional specs, data models and UAT plans
Process Design and Optimization
  • Assess existing workflows to identify gaps and recommend future-state improvements
  • Break down complex challenges and collaborate on scalable, sustainable solutions
  • Evaluate solution options for feasibility, technical alignment and operational impact
  • Support the development lifecycle by providing requirement clarity and rapid issue resolution
Stakeholder Alignment and Delivery Assurance
  • Act as the bridge between business users, IT teams and external vendors, driving alignment across all phases
  • Drive expectation alignment, communicate progress proactively and resolve stakeholder conflicts
  • Support UAT planning and execution to validate system readiness and business fit
What You Need to Bring
  • Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (Master’s/MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst or System Analyst in complex environments
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on Oracle Opera PMS experience in hotel operations
  • Strong background in Opera configuration, troubleshooting and system integration
  • Experience delivering solutions in Agile, Scrum and/or Waterfall environments
  • Hospitality, integrated resort or mission‑critical operations experience is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart or similar BA tools
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and critical thinking skills
  • Expertise in requirements engineering and process re‑engineering
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder management abilities
  • High ownership mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in fast‑paced operational settings
