About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital and technology initiatives within the public sector. The role involves working closely with stakeholders and cross‑functional delivery teams in an Agile environment to translate business needs into actionable insights and well‑defined requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive product outcomes by delivering actionable insights
• Conduct market and problem space analysis to support solution definition
• Evaluate existing solutions to identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and synergies
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and user interviews to gather and validate requirements
• Define key success factors and relevant metrics, and support dashboard tracking
• Analyse post‑release results to identify areas for improvement
• Assess the impact of requested changes and support estimation of resource requirements
• Work closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning activities, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience working as a Business Analyst
• Hands‑on experience working on Agile projects (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Proven ability to collect, analyse, and synthesise data into actionable insights
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present ideas and influence stakeholders
• End‑to‑end experience working with product teams to build and deliver products
• Ability to work independently under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines
• Experiences delivering Government or Public Sector projects is a plus
• PMP certification is an advantage, or demonstrated experience practising project management
• Familiarity with public sector governance, compliance, and delivery processes is a plus

Educational Background

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Product Management, or related disciplines is an advantage
