SCOPE OVERVIEW
- Engage stakeholders across business units to understand business objectives, product requirements, and servicing needs, translating them into clear application and operational requirements.
- Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, and decompose high-level concepts into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate closely with both business and technology teams to design solutions that support life insurance purchase and servicing journeys, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory expectations.
- Prepare key BA deliverables including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), functional specifications, process flows, use cases, GUI/interface designs, and data requirements.
- Serve as the bridge between life insurance operations, product teams, and IT to ensure solutions are robust, practical, and aligned with IL system capabilities.
- Work with technical teams to clarify requirements, review solutions, track technical issues, and support change implementation.
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, scenario preparation, execution, and defect management, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Monitor system enhancements post-implementation and communicate changes and impacts to business users effectively.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in the life insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products, underwriting, policy purchase journeys, and servicing processes (e.g., claims, policy changes, billing).
- Experience working with AS400 system.
- Solid experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong familiarity with online systems, customer portals, and digital servicing capabilities in insurance.
- Hands‑on experience in supporting UAT activities, test case preparation, and defect tracking.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
