Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support project and product development in our team. The candidate will be the liaison between stakeholders and the technical delivery team, ensuring that requirements are accurately captured, translated, and implemented. The candidate will conduct market analysis to understand the needs of customers and translate them into product features and requirements for the development team and pitch the product to potential customers to gain adoption.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead requirement gathering workshops with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze business needs and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, process flows and sequence diagrams
- Serve as the voice of the customer within the project team, ensuring user needs are well represented
- Support the creation and maintenance of requirements traceability matrices, linking business needs to system features and test cases
- Collaborate with technical teams, testers, and project managers to ensure requirements are understood and met
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
- Provide administrative support such as organizing documentation, updating tracking tools, and coordinating meetings when needed
- Support system testing activities, including reviewing test cases, validating requirements coverage, and assisting in defect triage
- Assist in the preparation of training materials and user guides
- Analyze market and customer data to provide insights into customer needs and business opportunities
- Develop business cases and assess product feasibility
- Participate in determining and shaping product features, focus and priorities
- Provide administrative support in areas such as meeting organization, note taking, presentations delivery
- Create product brochures, videos, presentation material, product documentation and user manuals
- Assist in the development of customer training materials and provide user training
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction
- Stay up to date on market, competition, product changes and enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Engineering/ Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in project / product development, or a related field
- Skilled in facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and producing clear, structured documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong data analysis skills
