Job summary

A national employers federation in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional for the role of business advisor to handle enquiries and provide diagnostic solutions to enterprises. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of business advisory experience and possess a bachelor's degree in business or economics. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. The position involves engaging with companies, monitoring project applications, and delivering workshops related to workforce transformation.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of full-time business advisory and diagnosis or relevant consulting experience is necessary.
  • Ability to deliver workshops related to workforce transformation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle enquiries on EWTP programme including manning the public enquiry channels.
  • Educate and build awareness of EWTP programme amongst companies during events and seminars.
  • Engage companies one-on-one on enterprise and workforce issues.
  • Provide business diagnostics to enterprises using in-house methodology.
  • Conduct diagnosis of human capital issues through the Human Capital Diagnostics Tool (HCDT).
  • Monitor WDG-JR applications, acceptance of LOO and commencement of projects.

Job description
Programme education and awareness
  • Handle enquiries on EWTP programme including manning the public enquiry channels
  • Educate and build awareness of EWTP programme amongst companies during events and seminars
Business Diagnostics & solutioning
  • Engage companies one-on-one on enterprise and workforce issues
  • Provide business diagnostics to enterprises using in-house methodology.
  • Conduct diagnosis of human capital issues through the Human Capital Diagnostics Tool (HCDT)
  • Provide enterprise and workforce advisory on government programmes, grants and funded training based on diagnosed issues and needs.
  • Refer companies to panel consultants for workforce transformation projects
Project tracking
  • Monitor WDG-JR applications, acceptance of LOO and commencement of projects.
  • Perform post-project follow-up with WDG-JR companies and recommend suitable interventions when necessary
  • Gather success stories from WDG-JR companies for publicity
Qualifications and Skills

At least 3 years of full-time business advisory and diagnosis or relevant consulting experience is necessary

Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics or related discipline is preferred

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge and expertise in business diagnostic tools.

Some understanding of HR challenges in enterprises and workforce transformation.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and practically.

Ability to deliver workshops related to workforce transformation is preferred.
