Job description

Oversee the overall facility management operations of a new development.

Manage and coordinate all Defects Liability Period (DLP) matters, including defect reporting, rectification, and documentation.

Lead the in-house maintenance team in all daily facilities maintenance activities.

Ensure all maintenance works (preventive, corrective, and ad-hoc) are carried out efficiently and on schedule.

Liaise closely with contractors, consultants, and vendors to monitor performance and recommend improvements.

Provide professional recommendations on M&E systems and building services to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, building codes, and statutory requirements.

Oversee the project’s operational readiness and maintain building systems in optimal condition.

Act as the appointed Fire Safety Manager (FSM) — prepare ERP, CERT Team, ensure fire safety compliance, conduct inspections, drills, and maintain records as required by SCDF.

Prepare maintenance reports and update management and stakeholders regularly.

Promote continuous improvement and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance building performance and safety.
