The Job

This role is responsible for the general maintenance of the building with includes all the mechanical and electrical components. Tasks will include hands-on roles which may include basic repair skill sets for electrical/ plumbing or air conditioning.

What You Can Expect of the Job

• Respond to service requests, work orders, and conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform first-level repairs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues.
• Manage and oversee projects to ensure quality, specifications, and safety standards are met.
• Liaise with contractors for electrical, plumbing, sewage, and project-related works, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ensure that the appointed vendor Maintain Fire & Security alarm systems and other safety-related equipment.
• Liaising for the maintenance and servicing of passenger lift, Cargo Lift, Hoist, Overhead Cranes.
• Manage air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation maintenance, troubleshooting, and escalation to term contractors when needed.
• Assist in planning, supervising, and executing AC replacement programs and major AC/ventilation works.
• Liaise with pest control and oversee general facility upkeep, including lighting, painting, and minor repairs.
• Handle documentation and administrative tasks such as PR/PO creation, quotations, and maintaining daily work logs.
• Any other ad-hoc task appointed by the reporting manager, including overtime over the weekends may be required if project/ maintenance activities are carried out.
