Job summary

A leading architectural firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Architect to oversee residential projects. Responsibilities include detailed design development, tender document preparation, and compliance with local regulations. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, a degree in architecture, and familiarity with design software such as Revit and AutoCAD. The role includes site inspections and liaising with various stakeholders, ensuring high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in residential or landed development projects.
• Familiarity with local regulations and experience in authority submissions.
• Preferably someone with experience in Singapore's landed houses projects.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients, consultants, PM, constructors, and suppliers.
• Prepare presentations and 3D rendered images throughout design development.
• Perform detail design development including drawings and specifications.
• Prepare tender documents including the design brief and scope.
• Review construction materials and shop drawings during the construction phase.
• Coordinate with drafters and obtain approvals from clients.
• Conduct periodic site inspections for quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with BCA regulations and URA planning guidelines.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Client, Local consultants, PM, Constructors, Suppliers, Quantity surveyor based on the knowledge and experience of Architectural and Structural design.

• Preparation of presentations throughout the phase of design development by creating 3d rendered images and initial floor plans.

• To perform detail design: Detail design development (drawings and specifications)

• Tender document preparation (tender design brief, scope demarcation)

• To perform construction phase design: Review of construction material / shop drawing

• Shop drawing preparation (with drafter), coordination and obtain approval from client or local consultant

• Periodical site inspection (internal check for quality improvement)

• Verify site installation works are according to design intent.

• To liaise with PE's, builders, clients and suppliers all throughout the project lifecycle.

• Handover submission arrangement with drafter team and project team

• Ensure compliance with Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations, URA planning guidelines, and other relevant statutory requirements.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in residential / A&A / landed development projects.

• Familiarity with local regulations and experience in authority submissions.

• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp, Photoshop, and 3Ds Max

• Must be qualified to be TC

• Preferably someone who has past experience working in Singapore's project for landed houses project.

• Prefer to view a portfolio of 3D renderings of landed residential houses
