Role Overview

The Broker Enablement Team Lead plays a pivotal role in leading a team of enablement professionals who support and empower brokers to deliver exceptional client service and drive business growth. This role combines operational oversight, team leadership, and strategic enablement to ensure brokers have the tools, processes, and support they need to succeed. This role requires working together with the Technical Administration team members in the Operations Division in ensuring cross‑department efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
Team Support & Coordination
  1. Lead and manage Broker Enablement Executives, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
  2. Foster a collaborative and high‑performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align enablement initiatives with business goals.
  4. Monitor team performance metrics and report progress to management.
Broker Support & Coordination
  1. Assist brokers with policy documentation, renewals, endorsements, and other processing needs.
  2. Ensure broking teams fulfill their responsibilities as part of the responsibility matrix.
  3. Coordinate with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotations and policy terms.
  4. Ensure timely and accurate data entry into broking systems and CRM platforms.
Operational Enablement & Training
  1. Streamline workflows and identify process improvements to enhance broker efficiency.
  2. Support onboarding and training of new brokers on systems, tools, and compliance requirements, working with the necessary teams during induction.
  3. Maintain and update broker enablement resources such as templates, guides, and FAQs.
Client Service Support
  1. Liaise with clients for documentation, queries, and follow‑ups as needed.
  2. Prepare client presentations, reports, and renewal summaries in collaboration with brokers.
Compliance & Documentation
  1. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  2. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and correspondence.
Qualifications & Skills
  1. Experience using Copilot tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot in Excel, Word, or Teams) to enhance productivity and reporting.
  2. Prior experience in insurance broking or financial services support roles preferred.
  3. Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
  4. Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Detail‑oriented with a proactive mindset.
Nice to Have
  1. Familiarity with commercial, specialty, or wholesale insurance broking.
  2. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  3. Exposure to digital tools or platforms used in broker enablement or sales operations.
  4. Ability to coach and mentor team members effectively.

  • Any other relevant tasks that the Chief Broking Officer and/or Head of Department may from time to time require you to enact.
Compliance
  • Comply with relevant legal, regulatory and compliance requirements, E&O compliance procedures and quality initiatives.
  • Escalation of any potential E&O's to Compliance Officer and Executive Directors at the earliest opportunity.
  • Ensure completion of all mandatory Company training and to deadline.
