An international bakery operations firm in Singapore is seeking a leader to establish and manage the commissioning of a new bakery plant. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality, and driving continuous improvement through methodologies like LEAN and Six Sigma. The ideal candidate will recruit and mentor a high-performance team and manage budgets effectively, serving as a liaison with HQ and external partners. The position offers a competitive salary up to $9,000.

Job Scope

1. Lead the establishment and commissioning of a new bakery plant, including installation of production lines, utilities, and compliance with safety and food standards (HACCP, ISO22000).

2. Oversee daily operations across production, quality, engineering, supply chain, and maintenance, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and consistent product quality.

3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and monitor key performance indicators (OEE, yield, downtime, production costs).

4. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performance operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning.

5. Manage CapEx and OpEx budgets, optimize resource utilization, and collaborate with procurement for cost-efficient materials and services.

6. Serve as the main point of contact for HQ, regulators, and external partners, and collaborate with R&D and commercial teams to support product innovation and compliance.
