Job summary

An aerospace manufacturer in Seletar is seeking an Avionics Aircraft Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in avionics and electrical installation. Responsibilities include oversight of customization, maintenance work, and leading a team of technicians. Candidates must hold a FAA A&P Licence and be experienced in reading schematics and blueprints. This role may require overseas travel and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of avionics and electrical installation experience.
  • Reading schematics, Blueprints, and installation drawings.
  • Hold a FAA A&P Licence, FCC, EASA B2 or CAAS B2 equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of Avionics customizing and maintenance work.
  • Lead Avionics technicians on daily work orders.
  • Assist in customizing material inventory planning and technical solutions.

Avionics Aircraft Engineer (Helicopter/ Fixed Wing/ SAR66)

Location: Seletar

Salary Up to $8,000 depending on experience

Our client is an American aerospace manufacturer. They manufacture military rotorcraft as well as commercial helicopters. Our client also involves in wholesale of aircraft equipment and aircraft supplies (including aeronautical equipment).

Responsibilities
  • Responsible to hands on and provide oversight of Avionics customizing, inspection, maintenance work, trouble shooting and defect rectification.
  • Responsible for providing a high-level working knowledge of Bell AD, TB, service installation kit, STC and third-party engineering order on all Bell aircraft configurations.
  • Responsible for providing all planning and capacity analysis required for the successful operation of this section,
  • Responsible for leading Avionics technicians on daily work order and complete within specify time frame.
  • Responsible to assist, research and approve the customizing material inventory planning, seeking engineering support and provide suggestions/technical solutions as required.
Qualifications
  • Two (2) years university or aerospace trade school or military technical school.
  • Minimum 5 years of avionics and electrical installation experience.
  • Reading schematics, Blueprints, installation drawings computer literate.
  • Hold a FAA A&P Licence FCC, EASA B2 or CAAS B2 equivalent.
  • Hold a NAA Licence.
  • Willing to travel for overseas assignments as required.
  • Able to work independently.
