Job summary

A manpower services provider in Singapore is looking for an AV Technician to provide technical support for AV equipment in schools. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing AV systems, supporting events, and training staff and students. The qualified candidate should have a relevant Nitec qualification and at least 2 years of experience. This is a 12-month contract with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, and the opportunity to extend for another year.

About the job AV Technician (Farrer Road)

Function:
Provide overall technical and operational support for all AV-related matters in the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AV equipment (projectors, sound/light systems, visualisers, etc.).

Support AV setup and operations during school and ad-hoc events.

Develop SOPs, manuals, and user guides for AV equipment.

Manage AV inventory and asset tagging.

Research and recommend new AV technologies and solutions.

Conduct training for staff and students on AV equipment usage.

Assist HOD ICT and school leaders with other AV-related duties as assigned.

Requirement:

  • Minimum Nitec or equivalent qualification in an IT-related field.

At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Singapore schools

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication skills and a good team player.

Adaptable and able to work well in a dynamic environment.

Duration/Working hours:

12 months contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026

  • Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays except for some school events that fall on the weekend.
