Position Title: AV Presales Engineer / Manager

Industry/ Organization Type: IT Service

Working Location: Tampines

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.00pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,800 + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead presales demos, follow up on leads, build networks, and manage partner/supplier relationships.
  • Meet clients to understand needs and concerns.
  • Present on behalf of the company at meetings or conferences.
  • Handle complaints and perform on-site troubleshooting.
  • Prepare quotations and track purchase orders.
  • Work with suppliers, vendors, distributors, resellers, and manufacturers on quotes; negotiate pricing.
  • Gather customer/prospect feedback and share with internal teams.
  • Lead AV initiatives and advise on procurement.
  • Review schematic drawings by colleagues.
  • Provide planning and layout advice.
  • Help procure AV hardware/software; ensure project readiness.
  • Plan and track timelines; manage equipment storage and transport.
  • Perform rack-and-stack, on-site installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair for AV, networking, and in-house projects at customer sites.
  • Do electrical wiring, trunking, programming, and basic setup (ladder use may be required).
  • Manage, test, and commission CCTV, ELV (extra-low voltage), Bluetooth, and other devices.
  • Complete testing, configuration, staging, and upgrades on schedule.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Attend service calls for equipment faults.
  • Provide on-site support and user training.
  • Create and update user guides and other documentation.
  • Follow up with Finance on costing and billing.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, IT, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in AV presales or systems integration
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to plan timelines, coordinate storage/transport of equipment, track progress, and close projects on schedule.
