Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation frameworks, modern scripting languages, and CI/CD integration, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Maintain and optimize test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide detailed bug reports.
Ensure test environments are properly configured and managed.
Mentor junior team members on automation best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

4–12+ years of experience in test automation, with Playwright expertise.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python or C# is a plus).
Experience with modern automation frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, REST APIs).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
