Job summary

A prominent HR advisory firm in Singapore is looking for an Associate to engage in corporate insolvency and restructuring tasks, including document preparation, client communication, and financial analysis. Responsibilities

  • Prepare documents for conflict checks.
  • Liaise with clients on required documents.
  • Analyze historical and current financial performance.
  • Review historical transactions.
  • Investigate causes of insolvency.
  • Assist with cash flow projections and client liquidity requirements.
  • Liaise with government bodies like CPFB, IRAS, and MOM.
  • Manage various corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements.
  • Familiarize with insolvency laws.
  • Assist Directors and Managers with administrative tasks.

Associate
  • Working Hours: 5 Days [9am - 6pm]
  • Salary: $2,800 - $3,500
  • Location: One Commonwealth, Singapore
Requirements
  • Preferably 1 year of working experience in accounting, audit, corporate or individual insolvency and/or restructuring space.
  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy and/or ACCA // Business Administration or equivalent
Jobs Scope
  • Preparation of documents for conflict checks.
  • Liaising with clients on the documents required.
  • Performing an analysis on the historical and current financial performance of the clients.
  • Performing a review of historical transactions.
  • Investigating the cause of the insolvency.
  • Assisting in the preparation of cash flow projections and assessing the validity of the assumptions adopted, taking into account the liquidity constraints / requirements of the client.
  • Liaising with government bodies such as CPFB, IRAS, MOM and CPFB.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders in the administration of various forms of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements (such as judicial management, liquidation and receivers and managers) including dealing with creditors’ queries, recovering and realizing assets and fulfilling the statutory obligations of the administrators.
  • Familiarising themselves with the prevailing insolvency laws.
  • Assisting the Directors and Managers on the administrative aspect of the engagements such as time reporting, preparation of the Bill of Cost, documentation tracking etc.
