Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a Precision Engineering Company preferred.
• Experience in metal stamping, plastic injection moulding or die casting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Project Engineer to manage project feasibility and quality.
• Assist in reviewing RFQs and conducting feasibility studies.
• Liaise with customers on DFM process and design feasibility study.
• Prepare and submit samples, FAIR, and PPAP reports to comply with quality standards.
• Track part approvals and communicate with internal teams.
• Participate in production meetings and assist in troubleshooting.

Roles & Responsibilities

This role works closely with the Project Engineer to ensure the feasibility, quality, and timely delivery of projects. The Assistant Project Engineer will be involved in supporting technical studies, communicating with customers, and tracking project progress from initial concept through to production, while adhering to the company's standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist in reviewing RFQs, identifying product constraints, and conducting feasibility studies.
• Liaise with customer on DFM process and design feasibility study.
• Help prepare and submit samples, FAIR, and PPAP reports, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Track part approvals and ensure timely communication to internal teams.
• Participate in production meetings, support troubleshooting and assist in corrective actions.
• Maintain and update project documentation including DFM files, drawings etc.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 2 year’s relevant experience in a Precision Engineering Company though not necessary.
• Experience in metal stamping, plastic injection moulding or die casting will be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good planning & organization skills with ability to multitask.
