Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a qualified technician to prepare and qualify machinery for shipping. Candidates should have an ITE or Diploma in Mechatronics and experience with machinery automation. Responsibilities include supporting site service and ensuring equipment readiness. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience for ITE, 2 years for Diploma.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and perform I/O checks.
• Experience with pneumatic systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, setup and qualify machines prior to machine being crated before shipping out from factory to Customer
• To support site service occasionally, within and out of Singapore

Requirements

• ITE or Diploma in Mechatronics.
• Experience required - Min 4 years for ITE and 2 years for Diploma
• Candidate must understand machinery automation with electrical, servo, sensor, pneumatic system
• Able to read mechanical drawings and measurement tools, perform I/O check and trouble shooting.
• Basic PC system and software knowledge
• Knowledge of Mechanical alignment and vision system understanding will be an advantage
