Job summary

A leading telecommunications provider in Singapore seeks individuals to support system administration of Mobile Element Management Systems and provide 1st line support for law enforcement queries. Ideal candidates should possess an engineering or IT diploma, be team players with strong communication skills, and demonstrate a passion for new technologies such as 5G and Cloud. This role may require working during non-office hours and involves disaster recovery tasks.

• Good engineering or IT diploma, preferably in the area of communications engineering.

Make an Impact by

• Supporting System administration and management of the Mobile Element Management System (EMS) on 4G/5G nodes and Analytic platforms in terms of operational and service assurance.
• Providing 1st line support & Liaising to Law Enforcement Agencies queries/feedback matter
• Liaising and coordinate with network vendors for regular system changes, including installation, system upgrade and maintenance.
• Performing disaster recovery tasks expeditiously in times of service disruptions to minimize service downtime.
• Liaising with other teams (e.g., technical team) to ensure the coordinated management of network incident.

Skills for Success:

• Good engineering or IT diploma, preferably in the area of communications engineering and networking.
• Fresh graduates with keen interest in Mobile technologies are welcome to apply. Appropriate training will be provided for successful candidate(s).
• Team player with strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
• Passion to embrace new technologies i.e. 5G, Virtualization, Cloud computing and keen interest in developing ways to improve customer experience.
• Able to work during non-office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours’ standby alert for ad-hoc faults or service degradation.
• Knowledge of SUN Solaris, RedHat, HPUX, SHELL programming, TCP/IP and CISCO switch / router will be an added advantage
