Overview

Our Marine & Energy Reinsurance team are seeking an Associate – Broking role to contribute to Gallagher Re’s growth in Asia-Pacific. Based in Singapore, this role will work closely with our Senior Brokers to support our insurance and reinsurance clients in understanding and managing their portfolios of Marine & Energy risk, successfully navigate the complex reinsurance market, and achieving their strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Placement and servicing of Marine & Energy Treaty business for the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Working with Senior Brokers to handle treaty slip wordings, endorsements, and data capture.
  • Working on client data analysis, tender submissions, reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate and support the organization of events, meetings and functions.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities related to negotiation and placement of Treaty reinsurance contracts as required.
  • Conduct negotiations with insurers and reinsurers.
  • Support client management, prospection and placement process in partnership with Senior Brokers.
  • Provide technical and commercial risk and reinsurance analysis to clients.
  • Maintain strong client and reinsurer relationships.
Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of experience (Graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Any prior experience in insurance or reinsurance.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel & other similar applications.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Team player with ability to multitask.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Willingness to engage with a wide range of International clients and markets.
  • Efficient and productive with strong organizational and administrative competencies.
  • Clear communication and good interpersonal skills – the candidate will be working in a dynamic, international team.
