Job summary

A major banking institution is seeking a professional responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation and submission of regulatory reports to authorities.
  • Assess the regulatory framework against the bank’s procedures and processes to identify gaps that could lead to non-compliance.
  • Remediate internal control gaps with effective implementation of change requests.
  • Work with Quality Assurance on accuracy, and completeness over regulatory reporting and remediate the outliers.
  • Manage key stakeholders while preparing and submitting regulatory reports.
  • Develop and implement training programmes to educate team members and stakeholders on evolving regulatory needs, data quality and other relevant areas.
  • Manage technology projects, including collaboration with key stakeholders such as GMTAP, RMDA, Vendor, etc.
Requirements
  • Degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of Banking experience with relevant exposure to regulatory reporting related function.
  • Possess critical thinking skills, and able to link diverse information to build a full picture and spot inconsistencies.
  • Meticulous, attention to detail with a risk and control mindset.
  • Good oral & written communication skills, and strong inter-personal skills.
  • Reliable team player, who is able to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Keen and proactive learner.
  • Effective time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet cut-off times.
