Job summary

A construction and safety management firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to oversee workplace safety and health practices. You will be responsible for conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing risk assessments. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry and relevant safety certifications. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily Toolbox Meetings and attend Progress Meetings.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and PPE for compliance.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conducting daily Toolbox Meetings. Attending daily Progress Meeting with Supervisor.
• Inspecting and ensuring all equipment, tools used & PPE are in compliance.
• Implement, review and improvement of HSE management system to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
• Ensure safety policies and standards are being maintained and employees are abiding workplace safety rules and safe work practices.
• Carried out Risk Assessments & Safe Work Procedures forIn-House and Project Sites.
• Conduct safety inspections regularly to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance to MOM safety requirements.
• Conduct site walk, routine inspection, prepare photographic inspection report / checklist and ensure proper documentation are recorded for future reference.
• To investigate of any workplace accident and identification of root causes and the implementation of the necessary corrective and preventive measures.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirements

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
• Building Construction Safety Supervisor Certificate
• At least 5 years of working experience in the construction industry
• Experience in civil / building / excavation works
• Computer literate and familiar with MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Diligent and hardworking
• Mon to Sat (Ability to work beyond normal working hours)
• Sun & Public Holidays must work if need.
