Job summary

A global semiconductor leader in Singapore is seeking individuals for a logistics role requiring experience with wafer sorter machines and the semiconductor industry. Ideal candidates will have a Certificate of Logistic or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts are essential. The position favors those committed to a 12-month contract in a dynamic environment, with opportunities for skill development.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and perform minor troubleshooting of wafer sorter machines and automated guided vehicles.
  • Perform physical tasks involved in receiving, unpacking, labelling, storing, picking, packing, and distributing of materials for shipment.
  • Manage incident tickets and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Operate and perform minor troubleshooting of wafer sorter machines and automated guided vehicles.
  • Perform physical tasks involved in receiving, unpacking, labelling, storing, picking, packing and distributing of materials for shipment.
  • Carry out and report cycle count as required with ensuring all items are labelled and stored in rightful location as registered in system.
  • Handle proper documents filling and maintain accurate records for all stock movements.
  • Co-ordinate with forwarders for shipment booking and documentation.
  • Managing incident tickets and engaging with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution of operational issues and the implementation of preventive actions.
  • Achieve logistic targets and adhere to guidelines, regulations, policies, procedures and 5S.
  • Support ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Certificate of Logistic / O-level / Higher NITEC qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences in semiconductor or logistics industry preferred
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.), and experience using the SAP system is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work 12-hour shifts (7am to 7pm) and commit 12 months contract.
