Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Sales Support professional to assist with order processing, customer inquiries, and inside sales activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in B2B or food sectors, and prior team leadership experience. Strong organizational, communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office are required. This is a full-time position with a commitment to a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales support or inside sales, ideally in B2B or food manufacturing.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a team is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Support the Sales Managers with order processing and customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Coordination
  • Support the Sales Managers with order processing, quotation preparation, and timely follow-ups.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Maintain and update customer records, sales data in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Logistics, Finance, Production) to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Track and manage sales leads to ensure timely communication and follow-up.
  • Help resolve customer complaints or issues, escalating where necessary.
Inside Sales & Upselling
  • Conduct inside sales activities to support business growth.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to existing customers based on customer needs and seasonal opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to identify sales opportunities and convert them into revenue.
Team Leadership & Management
  • Manage and supervise the Sales Support Executives, providing coaching, guidance, and performance oversight.
  • Oversee workflow planning, task allocation, and quality control within the sales support function.
  • Continuously improve internal processes for better efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Business or related field; Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales support or inside sales—preferably within B2B or food manufacturing sectors.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a team is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to a 5-day work week and professional business attire.
  • Willing to handle ad-hoc tasks required to support business operations.
