Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to manage customer accounts and support sales activities. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering, with practical B2B sales experience being preferred. Responsibilities include forecasting, inventory management, and preparation of sales reports. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable with technical products. The role offers a salary package up to $5,000 with performance bonuses and requires regional travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering.
• Able to work independently and has strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferably has B2B sales experience in manufacturing, especially with experience in supporting customer design projects.
• Familiar with trading terms and conditions, and comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google productivity tools.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical products is an added advantage.
• Experience with Salesforce or SAP is an advantage.
• Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts, including relationships and sales targets.
• Coordinate with the factory and headquarters on shipment schedules.
• Support sales activities with existing and new customers.
• Assist Finance with accounts receivable collection.
• Be willing to travel in the region for customer support.
• Help prepare sales reports with the Sales Manager.
• Travel overseas for new business opportunities, especially to India and Indonesia.

• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.00am - 5.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $5,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts, including customer relationships, forecasting to the factory, inventory management, and meeting monthly sales targets.
• Coordinate with the factory and Japan headquarters on shipment schedules, sample requests, and R&D activities.
• Support sales activities with existing and new customers to create new business opportunities.
• Assist the Finance Department with accounts receivable collection from customers.
• Be willing to travel in the region to support customers or follow up on sales leads.
• Help the Sales Manager with preparing sales reports.
• Be open to traveling overseas, especially to India and Indonesia, to explore new business opportunities.
