Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Supervisor to lead and drive the achievement of business objectives. The successful candidate will manage key accounts, ensure effective salesforce performance, and develop team potential. Candidates should have a degree and a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in sales of pharmaceutical products. Strong planning and negotiation skills are essential. Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive the achievement of business objectives within Singapore.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key accounts and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Ensure effective salesforce performance management through structured coaching, performance monitoring, corrective action plans, and formal performance appraisals.
  • Lead and collaborate closely with Product Specialists to ensure sales plans and marketing strategies are effectively executed to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage individual and team account information through timely reporting and accurate maintenance of customer records.
  • Monitor, track, and continuously improve sales force effectiveness (SFE).
  • Identify capability gaps and develop team potential through structured coaching and career development planning.
  • Partner closely with the Human Resources team on recruitment and manpower planning activities.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge competency for self and the sales team.
  • Contribute to overall team effectiveness by supporting related initiatives and responsibilities as required.
  • Manage principal relationships, including attending and presenting business reviews with Principals and Senior Management.
  • Work closely with the Inventory Management team on demand planning and sales forecasting.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with SOPs, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Overall, support the achievement of both principal and company objectives.
Requirements / Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry; exposure to the OTC healthcare sector is an added advantage.
  • Strong sales planning, organizational, and process management skills.

  • Results-driven with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
