Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and manage a team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in management, experience in inventory management, and be proficient in MS Office. This role involves coordinating between departments and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Attractive salary offered up to $4,000.

Qualifications

  • At least 3–5 years of operations or management experience, preferably in FMCG, trading, or logistics.
  • Experience in inventory management and stock-taking.
  • Class 3 driving license required.

Position title : Assistant Operations Manager

Salary: Up to $4,000
Working Days: 5. 5 days Mon - Fri; Sat half day
Working hours : 9am - 6pm | 9am - 1pm

Location: Jurong West

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations and supervise the operations team.
  • Coordinate with sales, warehouse, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Develop and improve operational processes and SOPs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock accuracy.
  • Plan and conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.
  • Handle and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyse operational data and prepare management reports.
  • Manage manpower, resources, and equipment requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of operations or management experience (FMCG, trading, or logistics preferred).
  • Experience in inventory management and stock-taking
  • Proficient in MS Office; ERP knowledge is a plus.
  • Have Class 3 license
  • Have forklift license is a plus
