Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Nurse/Care Manager to provide quality nursing care aligned with established policies and standards
- Implement patient care in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams, taking into account assessed needs and health conditions
- Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while following up on progress and care plans
- Monitor patient conditions for early signs of clinical deterioration and elevate concerns as necessary
- Actively engage in multi-disciplinary team rounds and execute treatment and investigation orders from physicians promptly
- Prepare and assist with bedside procedures and treatments as directed by physicians
- Communicate patient progress and treatment responses within the multi-disciplinary team framework
- Demonstrate clinical knowledge and critical thinking in delivering nursing care
- Assist nursing teams in addressing patient and clinical operational issues, escalating to senior management when needed
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding disease management, prevention, and rehabilitation
- Support cost-effective resource management in line with budgetary guidelines
- Monitor and improve compliance with infection control practices
- Plan and conduct in-service training sessions for nursing staff and students to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Lead the implementation of nursing initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders
- Evaluate the clinical performance of new nursing staff and students, providing constructive feedback and documentation
Requirements:
- Advanced/Diploma in Nursing and/or bachelor's in nursing is preferred
- Valid nursing license with the relevant regulatory authority
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Staff Nurse in a clinical environment
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows in community hospitals and long-term care settings
