Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Nurse/Care Manager to provide quality nursing care aligned with established policies and standards
  • Implement patient care in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams, taking into account assessed needs and health conditions
  • Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while following up on progress and care plans
  • Monitor patient conditions for early signs of clinical deterioration and elevate concerns as necessary
  • Actively engage in multi-disciplinary team rounds and execute treatment and investigation orders from physicians promptly
  • Prepare and assist with bedside procedures and treatments as directed by physicians
  • Communicate patient progress and treatment responses within the multi-disciplinary team framework
  • Demonstrate clinical knowledge and critical thinking in delivering nursing care
  • Assist nursing teams in addressing patient and clinical operational issues, escalating to senior management when needed
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding disease management, prevention, and rehabilitation
  • Support cost-effective resource management in line with budgetary guidelines
  • Monitor and improve compliance with infection control practices
  • Plan and conduct in-service training sessions for nursing staff and students to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Lead the implementation of nursing initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Evaluate the clinical performance of new nursing staff and students, providing constructive feedback and documentation
Requirements:
  • Advanced/Diploma in Nursing and/or bachelor's in nursing is preferred
  • Valid nursing license with the relevant regulatory authority
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Staff Nurse in a clinical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills
