Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering consultancy.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of design and coordination engineers to ensure design drawings comply with authority regulations and project requirements.

• Act as the main liaison between consultants, clients, contractors, and authorities on all design and technical matters.

• Guide and review technical submissions including shop drawings, material approvals, and construction method statements.

• Coordinate and track submissions to local authorities to ensure timely approvals and compliance.

• Lead the resolution of design and technical issues during construction through close coordination with Architectural, M&E, consultants, and relevant authorities.

• Review and manage technical queries by raising RFIs and RFAs to obtain timely design clarifications.

• Drive value engineering initiatives to improve cost efficiency, constructability, safety, and overall project quality.

Job Requirements

• Minimum with Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering consultancy.

• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, authority regulations, and construction methods.
