Responsibilities

• Establish project team, project name, project number, and documentation files.
• Coordinate with the main building contractor’s master schedule program.
• Review system design and specifications to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
• Appoint sub-contractors, define their scope of work, and monitor deliverables.
• Manage and set up site office and storage facilities.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, equipment delivery schedules, and material samples for consultant approval.
• Plan and monitor timely delivery of equipment to job sites.
• Participate in technical meetings and nominated sub-contract (NSC) coordination meetings.
• Ensure site safety standards comply with relevant regulations (e.g., Factory Act, BOWEC).
• Monitor and evaluate sub-contractor performance for future reference.
• Submit monthly progressive claims to the main contractor for consultant certification.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including sub-contractor claims and payment processing.
• Supervise final testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Prepare and submit as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and thermostat controller documentation.
• Establish maintenance service programs during the Defects Liability period.
• Prepare overall project reports.
• Collaborate with department heads to prepare budgets, forecasts, and annual financial plans.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in project handling; exposure to air-conditioning, chiller, or HVAC systems will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
