Job summary

What the Role Is

You will be responsible for planning and executing (a) media‑related initiatives; and (b) international engagements, to support the roles of the President. You should preferably be familiar with developments in geopolitics, geoeconomics, macroeconomics, monetary policy, and finance, as well as challenges relating to the global commons. You are expected to work closely with external agencies to manage multiple priorities and to support discourse at international meetings and events.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Media strategy – develop key narratives, including developing content for talking points, media releases, speeches, social media etc.
  • Media Management – media staffing at events and functions.
  • Content Development – Develop content, including filming and producing videos for social media platforms.
  • Manage internal and public communications related to feedback, petitions and appeals.
What We Are Looking For
Key Competencies
  • Media Relations: Staffing and managing official functions/events. Ensure all media related materials have been prepared. Review media materials to assess whether they are appropriate to the nature of the events. Engage media partners on stories.
  • Communications Strategy: Defining audience profiles and determining framing to deliver messages to best cater to difference audience segments: Recommend suitable media platforms to reach the different target segments. Developing overall communications strategy into strategic initiatives so as to convey key messages and information relating to the narrative.
  • Message Framing & Delivery: Craft clear and simple messages to achieve narrative objectives. Explore different ways to deliver messages through appropriate media channels and visuals (e.g. via digital platforms).
  • Content Creation & Curation: Create content for a variety of digital platforms as part of integrated communications campaigns to support communications efforts. Recommend creative styles, approaches and content formats to communicate narratives. Use a variety of software to develop creative, aesthetically sound visuals (e.g. graphics, videos, illustrations).
Work Experience & Knowledge
  • Singapore Citizenship.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate and international communications, focusing on media management, including social media.
  • Ability to film, record and produce short videos for social media platforms.
  • Ability to speak, read and write a second language.
