Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Subject matter expert for the Configuration Management
  • Implement governance model in configuration management by developing configuration management policy, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide training to IT teams in adherence to the Configuration Management policy, standard, and process.
  • Provide strategic plans for the overall implementation of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management in ServiceNow to facilitate efficient process on Incident, Problem, Service Request, Change, Release, and Application Portfolio Management operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from other Sands properties and various IT Teams on the requirement and deliverables for CMDB.
  • Manage CMDB discovery schedules and monitor all discovery interfaces of Server, Network, End-user computing devices, and data synchronization to other third-party tools.
  • Maintain accurate information of all Configuration Items (CI) including their relationships.
  • Conduct regular meetings with IT workgroups to ensure the integration of IT Infrastructure, Application, and other related processes is established and well maintained.
  • Proactive monitoring of all CIs that are not compliant and work with SME to ensure relevant CI information is updated in the CMDB.
  • Implement and maintain certificate management and CI service mapping as part of ServiceNow ITOM visibility rollout.
  • Conduct annual IT asset reconciliation with IT asset owners to review the assets and accuracy of record in CMDB.
  • Provide direction and guidance to other Sands properties on CMDB implementations.
  • Support and provide artefacts requested by auditors and IT Management.
  • Perform all BAU duties of configuration management.
  • Lead all projects, enhancements, and address issues related to CMDB.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the IT Management and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Service management with solid hands‑on experience in implementing and managing Configuration Management System, CMDB, Asset Management, CI discovery integration, Service Mapping, and Certificate Management in ServiceNow.
  • Experienced in spearheading the Configuration Management implementation in large scale enterprise environment.
Other Prerequisites
  • Strong project management, good analytical and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively to all levels in the organization.
  • Must be ITIL certified with in depth knowledge on ITIL framework and ServiceNow.
