A leading accounting firm in Singapore is looking for an Assistant Manager (Accounts & Admin) to oversee essential accounting operations. The successful candidate will manage a team of 4-7 staff, ensuring compliance with internal controls and participate in financial reporting. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Management, with at least 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in full-set accounting operations, budgeting, and project cost management. Join a dynamic team as an Assistant Manager (Accounts & Admin), where you will oversee essential accounting operations and ensure compliance while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and review accounting operations for ongoing and completed projects, focusing on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger management.
  • Prepare cash flow reports, cost forecasts, and variance analyses as needed.
  • Manage project costs and collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Assist in financial and management reporting to headquarters, ensuring submission aligns with required standards.
  • Support audits, tax compliance, and internal controls in compliance with relevant procedures.
  • Lead a team of 4-7 staff to ensure adherence to compliance and internal controls.
  • Oversee administrative support for various site functions, including events and staff accommodation.
  • Handle project-related HR matters and assist in resolving staff issues.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a major corporate environment.
  • Strong expertise in full‑set accounting operations, especially in construction‑related contracts and revenue recognition.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and project cost management.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and auditing procedures, with familiarity in relevant standards.
  • Experience operating ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations regarding construction is advantageous.
  • Experience with expatriates or HR‑related matters is a plus.
