A leading engineering firm is seeking an IT Operations Manager in Singapore. Responsibilities include overseeing daily IT operations, managing vendor liaisons, and providing IT support. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology and a minimum of 5 years' experience in IT management and infrastructure, along with strong networking skills. This role is essential for ensuring smooth functionality and compliance of IT systems within the organization.
Oversee the daily operations of the IT department to ensure smooth and uninterrupted functionality of all IT systems and equipment.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers for the procurement, repair, maintenance, and payment of IT equipment and services.
Maintain and regularly update the IT asset inventory to ensure accuracy, accountability, and resource availability.
Assist in the maintenance, support, and enhancement of in-house applications to ensure optimal performance.
Provide onsite and remote IT support for hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
Support site offices with IT-related matters, including procurement, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, deletion, access permissions, and backup of critical data (e.g., DingTalk, file servers and VPN access).
Manage local office IT infrastructure and supervise the IT team to achieve departmental objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned IT tasks and projects efficiently and within set timelines.
Maintain and monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of systems and networking concepts, including Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and Internet Protocol (IP).
At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with servers, networking equipment, and Windows operating systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supervisory or team lead roles.
