Job summary

A technology solutions company based in Singapore is seeking an IT professional to install and maintain network hardware and software, provide technical support, and manage IT contracts. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science and 3-4 years of relevant experience. Knowledge in cloud computing (AWS) and cybersecurity concepts is preferred. Job description

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving network and system-related issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, system settings, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Maintain and manage all IT contracts and renewals, including vendor management.
• Assist in designing, implementing, and managing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
• Assist in implementing and managing security measures to protect network and system confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Assist in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and backup procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the network and systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Preferably with Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Business Information System/IT-related or equivalent work experience
• Ideally with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge in Cloud computing (Preferred: AWS).
• Knowledgeable in computer network, system, and cybersecurity concepts. (CCNA Routing & Switching and CCNA Security or similar)
• Comfortable to travel to project sites as needed to support network and system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
