Joining Calbee Moh Seng Pte Ltd means being part of a growing and innovative organization driven by a passion for excellence. As part of our expansion, we are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to support and oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions.

This role is suitable for a hands-on finance professional who is ready to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, guide a small team, and work closely with management. The successful candidate will report directly to management.

Job Description
  • Support and oversee monthly financial closing, cash flow reporting, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis for management.
  • Work closely with management and department heads on accounting and finance-related matters.
  • Handle corporate tax and GST matters, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and reports, and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting exercises, including variance tracking.
  • Monitor costs versus budget, accounts receivable collections, accounts payable turnover, and cash flow positions, and highlight issues to management when necessary.
  • Perform pricing, discount, and promotion analysis to support business decisions.
  • Liaise with Japan HQ on routine finance reporting and queries.
  • Supervise and guide finance team member, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of work.
  • Handle ad-hoc finance and accounting tasks as required by management.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accountancy or Finance; professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment and taking responsibility for end-to-end finance processes.
  • Able to work independently, exercise judgment, and elevate matters appropriately.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Able to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
