• Oversee lab operations to support plant functions.
• Ensure updated lab procedures and proper training.
• Procure and manage laboratory supplies.
• Manage maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage quality assurance program to monitor incoming wastewater profile and implement control measures to ensure compliance.
• Analyse wastewater analytic results and work with Plant Manager on daily wastewater treatment plan.
• Work with Plant Manager to conduct testing and acceptance of new wastewater streams.
• Work with Plant Manager to conduct trials and tests to optimize treatment efficiency.
• Ensure proper upkeep of laboratory records and maintain the integrity of database.
• Oversee the smooth and safe operations of lab function to support the plant operations.
• Ensure lab procedures are updated and operators are trained properly to conduct the lab analysis.
• Procure and manage laboratory supplies such as chemicals, reagents and consumables, etc.
• Manage the maintenance plan for laboratory Instruments and conduct scheduled calibration.
